Bose S1 Pro

This is the best busking amplifier we have tried. It has a beautiful clarity, great volume, is lightweight and easy to use. It even has bluetooth if you need to connect it with your phone (could be useful for magicians, dancers etc.). There are two outlets for jack or XLR cables but only very few settings. It has a bass and treble button but could really use a middle button. There is also a reverb button, which gives you enough for busking in the street, but it would be great with  stronger reverb.

Fishman Loudbox Mini Charge

A very versatile little amplifier. It has great sound and a LOT of it. There is several settings with great reverb and chorus effects, but in general it lacks on the clarity side and weighs twice as much as the Bose S1 Pro.

Shure SM58

Shure SM58 is the jack-of-all-trades when it comes to dynamic microphones. Everyone uses them which is truly saying something. It has great highs, middles and lows and picks up on sound nearly all the way around. The mic supports your vocals. It picks up a lot of sounds, and works great if you are two harmonising on one mic, but on the other hand it does not handle wind great.

Audix OM5

The Audix is a sturdy and well-designed dynamic microphone with great sound. The quality level is about the same as Shure SM58, but the feeling of these two are very different. The Audix OM5 is a directional microphone. This means you have to get close to the microphone, to get the full sound out of it. Therefore it is perfect to sing in on a windy day or when there is more noise around you, but barely works if you are two using it at the same time.

Martin GPCX2AE Macassar w/pickup

This guitar has that typical Martin warmth in the sound and great clarity. Usually you need to spend a lot of money to get a really good Martin but this one definitely competes with the high-end ones. It has fantastic playability and a beautiful design with rounded smooth edges that gives a very comfortable feel. It is a bit big for the street but definitely worth it.

Roland FP-30

A lovely stage piano with weighted keys that are super easy to play on. Good and sturdy with great clarity and bass. For people who want to travel around the world and busk with a piano under the arm, this 88-keyed Roland is reasonably light weight. You need a 12 V scooter/car battery to play freely on streets everywhere, which we definitely recommend you to.
